Okay, I love that the Xterra is one of the very few non-pickup vehicles that has no qualms about

Well, if you look at a lot of contemporary cars, you’ll find that the lazier/cheaper blackouts use a thick, glossy black vinyl. The Explorer’s A-pillars come to mind. So it can be got...

Also, the windows on the inspiring Xterra are quite tinted, as would befit its Dubai license plate.

Oh yeah. I remember getting up close and personal with a 2013 Compass and seeing how poorly fitted, and rough the vinyl on the b pillars were. It was bad, almost looked like grip tape for a skate board

Honestly I don’t think it works because each window has it’s own character line in the body.
